NEWCASTLE have joined Chelsea in the chase for Willy Caballero.
The 35-year-old keeper, Caballero becomes a free agent when his Manchester City contract expires at the end of this month.
He is wanted by Chelsea manager Antonio Conte to provide back-up for Thibaut Courtois following the departure of Asmir Begovic to Bournemouth.

But Caballero has received an offer from newly-promoted Newcastle, according to his agent Adrian Faija.
“We have some offers from England, he wants to stay in England,” Faija said.
“Newcastle is cold but pretty and the beaches in Brighton are beautiful as well and easily accessible from London.”
Boca Juniors have been linked with a re-sign Caballero but Faija dashed the speculation.
“There isn’t an offer from Boca,” he told Goal.
“To analyse it, first, we need an offer.
It needs be real first [before we consider a move to Buenos Aires].”
Player joined City from Malaga in 2014 but struggled to nail down a first-team spot.
He made 27 appearances last season under Pep Guardiola but City have splashed the cash on Benfica stopper Ederson, who will take the No.1 jersey.
